We want to be happy but can’t find a permanent solution for it because we always require a reason to be happy. Our happiness is reasonable, not independent. We take things for granted instead of being thankful for what we have. That’s why we remain unsatisfied and the thirst for being peaceful and happy can’t be quenched this way.
